Organizational Grants Criteria
The PJN organizational grants program aims to assist organizations engaged in helping Palestinians with educational, health, human rights, and economic needs. It also supports interfaith advocacy, internationalist relationships, and education about Palestine and Palestinians.
Project Requirements:
Grants awarded are between US $1,000 and US $5,000.
The project must provide aid targeted directly to the people being served and/or advocacy for their needs or aims.
One grant for one project only. Organizations are welcome to reapply in subsequent years.
Grants may not be used to pay debts, create or maintain loan funds, to fund an operating budget, or to fund a permanent endowment.
The organization must have a fiscal sponsor – e.g. a relationship with a U.S.-based organization with a 501c3 status or an international equivalent.
Grant should be expended within a year of receipt.
Upon completion of the grant year, grantees should provide a 1) written report (1-2 pages minimum) detailing progress toward goals and a brief financial summary (i.e., an excel spreadsheet detailing project expenses).
