Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Deplores Killings in Gaza, Supports Equality for Palestinian Citizens of Israel
Press Release — June 23, 2018 — Following overwhelming votes opposing federal and state laws designed to suppress Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaigns in support of Palestinian human rights, and opposing the muzzling of debate and discussion about Israel’s illegal military occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) last evening took further action condemning the recent violence directed against Palestinians during the Great March of Return in Gaza.

May 13, 2018 — Over the past several weeks, the world has witnessed the assertion of rights by the Palestinian people of Gaza—rights as refugees, rights as human beings, and rights as a people living under foreign military control. The largely nonviolent demonstrations have brought attention to the Palestinian presence and circumstance, as well as to the lethal Israeli military response with which the protestors have been met.

BDS Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize
January 31, 2018 —Norwegian parliamentarian Bjørnar Moxnes officially nominated the BDS movement for Palestinian rights for a Nobel Peace Prize. He did so with the support of his party, the progressive Rødt (Red) Party explaining why BDS “should be supported without reservation by all democratically-minded people and states.”
