If not now, When? IPMN supports MRTI’s recommendation to divest from occupation
Jan 24, 2014 - The Israel Palestine Mission Network of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) welcomes and supports the report of the Mission Responsibility Through Investment Committee (MRTI) with its recommendation to the Presbyterian Church to stop profiting from Israel’s military occupation of Palestine. MRTI has once again called upon the PC(USA) and its 221st General Assembly, meeting in June 2014, to divest all its holdings from Caterpillar Inc., Hewlett-Packard and Motorola Solutions, declaring that these companies are profiting from non-peaceful pursuits in Palestine. The Presbyterian Mission Agency Board will need to approve MRTI’s report when it meets February 5th and forward the recommendation to the General Assembly (GA) in Detroit.

This Study Guide is a condensed and edited version of a longer book entitled Zionism and the Quest for Justice in the Holy Land which will be published in 2014 by Pickwick Publications, an imprint of Wipf and Stock Publishers.
No Negative Investment in Palestine

IPMN Statement on Kerry Initiative
July 25, 2013 — Time for Israel to stop the settlements in Palestine — After some high level diplomacy on the part of US Secretary of State John Kerry, the global community is now being asked to celebrate the announcement of renewed peace talks and to meet this news without cynicism. It is a given that everyone with a stake in peace for the Middle East would like to greet this news with optimism and without cynicism. The Israel Palestine Mission Network of the Presbyterian Church (USA) is hopeful that this time there will be a real breakthrough that leads to peace.
IPMN, Presbyterian Mission Network, Joins the Interfaith Coalition Boycott of Sodastream
January 29, 2013 — The Israel Palestine Mission Network of PC(USA), as a member of the Interfaith Boycott Coalition, joins the Coalition in announcing its boycott of all Sodastream products. The Interfaith Coalition is an organization under the umbrella of the U.S. Campaign to End the Occupation. Sodastream's main production site is in Mishor Edomim, an Israeli settlement industrial park near the Ma'ale Adummim settlement in the West Bank. The land was illegally confiscated by Israeli military occupation authorities from Palestinian owners.
IPMN supports upgrading Palestine status at UN
November 28, 2012 - The Israel/Palestine Mission Network (IPMN) of the Presbyterian Church (USA) strongly supports the position of the denomination concerning the impending vote at the United Nations to upgrade the status of Palestine to an Observer State. The PC (USA) has encouraged world governments to stand with Palestine and recognize their right to self-determination. The IPMN believes that this recognition of Palestine is a vital step towards peace in the Holy Land.
